      Description

The project is a cogeneration power plant located in a sugar cane mill with a processing capacity of around 1,500,000 tonnes per year, located in Panuco, Mexico belonging to the Pantaleon Group. The project expanded installed capacity from 17.2 MW to 122.6 MW. Currently, in addition to meeting all of the sugarcane plant's thermal and electrical energy needs, surplus electricity is exported to Mexican electrical grid, corresponding to around 110,000 MWh per year.

The project is registered with the United Nations (UNFCCC).
